In Beautifull Northumberland
Wonderful Hospitality in a Wonderful Setting
Ken and Prudence Marks warmly welcome you into their home, Ash Tree House, which stands on the edge of the attractive conservation village of Eglingham in the heart of North Northumberland.
Here you will be assured of genuine Northumbrian hospitality in our spacious home, set on a hillside overlooking Beanley Moor, offering wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. Home-made cakes and scones will be offered to you on arrival at no extra charge.

This village is an ideal base for walkers and birdwatchers being close to the Cheviot Hills and the Northumberland National Park, offering peace and tranquillity in places such as the College and Ingram valleys.
Ash Tree House is also within easy reach of the Heritage Coast and Holy Island with golden beaches, rocky coves and magnificent castles. A tide table of safe crossing times is always available. Perhaps you would like to take a boat trip across to the Farne Islands to see the puffins, arctic terns and fulmars, to mention a few seabirds, as well as the colony of grey seals. We can book you a trip whenever you choose to go.
I am a native of Berwick-on-Tweed and, being very proud of my heritage, I know all the roads and places to visit on both sides of the Border. I can map out roads for you to take where you will hardly see another car all day. If we see about six cars on the road around here, apart from the A1 an A697, we consider that the road is busy!
